How is standard translation page defined?

Standard translation page (noted as 1 stp = 1 standard text page) consists of 1.500 characters, including alphabetical and numerical characters, all symbols, punctuation and spaces. It is calculated in a way so that the sum of the above is divided by 1.500. If the outcome is decimal number then the number is rounded up to the closest whole number.   

Written translations

Translation itself is a rather complex product combining the translator's expertise and experience, thus the price is contingent upon the complexity of the document to be translated, as well as the deadline for completion.  Ordinance on permanent court interpreters provides general guidance for prices of translation. Furthermore, Court interpreters are entitled to the reimbursement of expenses incurred in performing the translation (travel expenses, daily allowance, overnight stay, salary.)

Special discounts are possible in the case of larger quantities,  or in cases involving long-term business cooperation. 

The time period for completion of written translation depends on the quantity of text, subject matter, and orders at the time of the bid request. Daily norm amounts to 4-6 standard translation pages. For urgent translations (within 24 h on a business day) an additional 50% is charged.   

For translations on weekends, holidays, or church holidays – an additional 100% is charged on the base price of the performed translation.  

Extra 30% applies for certification. 

Extra 20% is charged on specialized translations (i.e. Medical documentation). 

Every additional sample of a translated document bearing the original stamp is charged at the price of the original, and copies are charged at 30% of the base price. 

Translations are not charged on the basis of a text page, instead, they are charged according to the standard translation page. 

When translation needs to be mailed based on the client's request actual expenses are charged extra.

Oral translations 

Oral translations need to be ordered at least 10 days in advance.  In order to secure the appropriate quality of translation, the outline of text or theme, as well as the information about the company and its line of business, needs to be provided at least 7 days prior to the translation date.  Other conditions, such as expenses related to equipment rental, travel expenses, accommodation for the interpreter, as well as the terms of cancellation of the ordered interpretation,  are agreed to among parties in accordance with the request for bid.

Proofreading of English text costs 8,49 EUR per standard page.

Proofreading of Croatian text costs 5,84 EUR per standard page.

Business services

Business consulting and project management services are based on an hourly fee amounting to 19,90 EUR and depend on volume and level of cooperation, as well as on the size of the project.   

Time for completion, and the price of a business plan, depend on the complexity and value of the investment.  Generally, it is within 2-4% of project value, or between 330,00 EUR and 1.990,00 EUR. 

Copywriting

The price of digital content writing ranges from 13,00 EUR - 33,00 EUR per standard translation page.

Devising domain names costs 165,00 EUR.

Designing business names amounts to 330,00 EUR.

Devising slogan, subject and product names (agreement) 

Prices of web design and hosting are agreed individually.
